Geoffery West is in London because of his work. He’s an American and since his arrival has been fascinated by the personalized advertisement that appear in the newspaper called Mail. The column is ‘The Agony Column’ and is used by men and women to send messages to the people whom they find interesting.
 And then he sees her. He was attracted to her and wanted to make her acquaintance. It helped matters that she was as interested in reading the Agony column as he was. He knew what he had to do and he did it. What happened next forms the story?

The Agony column by Earl Derr Biggers was 66 pages of pure fun. If you are into mystery and romance then you’d definitely like it. Saying more will ruin the story so do check it out.
