Joe Marlin  was a con artist. He had looks which he used to his advantage on rich women. His modus operandi was to find a rich woman and make her fall in love with him and score cash off her. His life was going great until he met Mona Brassard.
Mona was everything that he wanted but there was a problem. Mona was married.
Did he want Mona enough to kill her husband?

Grifter’s game by Lawrence block is the first book published by Hard Case Crime and it’s as noirish as it can get. The protagonist is a con artist who has to kill a drug dealer husband to get the woman of his dreams.
The story moves fast and the tension keeps piling. I loved the book especially the ending which is as dark as it can get.
If you are into noir then this little book will not disappoint you. Have you read this book? If yes how did you felt about it? And if not then you can get the book from the following link:
